Job summary

ENFRA Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer II to independently apply advanced engineering techniques to design and coordinate mechanical systems for energy and infrastructure projects across hospital and college campuses.

This role leads portions of projects, developing code-compliant, constructible designs for HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant systems while solving complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and design practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Design and analysis of mechanical systems for projects of moderate complexity.
• Developing calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Improving existing systems and developing new solutions.
• Preparing detailed system configurations and control schemes.
• Conducting field investigations and coordinating 3D laser scanning.
• Coordinating with internal disciplines and supporting construction-phase activities.
• Mentoring junior engineers and designers.
• Interfacing with clients on technical matters.
• May act as task lead or discipline lead on projects.
