Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer II to independently apply advanced engineering techniques for mechanical systems across hospital and college campuses. You will lead portions of projects, producing code‑compliant, constructible HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant designs while solving complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables and clear technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal engineering documents.
• Lead design and analysis of mechanical systems for moderate-complexity projects.
• Develop deliverables including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Improve existing systems and develop new solutions.
• Prepare system configurations and control schemes focused on energy savings.
• Conduct field investigations and support site visits; coordinate 3D laser scanning.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and support construction activities.
