Job summary

ProMach, based in Raleigh, NC, seeks aMechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in designing packaging machinery. You will develop mechanical components, create 3D models in SolidWorks/AutoCAD, and generate BOMs for manufacturing handoff.

You will collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Aftermarket to meet customer specs and timelines. Travel may be required; a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field desired.
• 4+ years in mechanical design and/or application engineering.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience designing packaging machinery and understanding assembly principles.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications and design mechanical components of machinery.
• Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks/AutoCAD.
• Prepare BOMs and document handoffs to planning/purchasing.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production and Aftermarket.
• Review milestones and ensure timely project execution.
