Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and model machinery components, generate 3D models and drawings, and prepare BOMs for manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer specs, safety, and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience, with strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• 4+ years of mechanical design and/or application engineering experience.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience required.
• Experience designing packaging machinery, including handling, assembly principles.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components and systems based on customer specs and requirements.
• Create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks/AutoCAD and ERP (Syteline).
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Aftermarket to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Revise drawings and BOMs as needed and support manufacturing during fabrication and testing.
• Communicate project status and risks to Engineering Director and cross-functional teams.
