Job summary

ProMach, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop and refine designs for filling and capping machinery in Corona, CA.

You will use SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings and manage BOMs in Syteline ERP, coordinating across Sales, Manufacturing and Assembly to meet customer requirements. The role requires 2–5 years of design experience, a mechanical engineering degree, strong fundamentals in machine design and fluid dynamics, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in design and/or application engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of machine design and fluid dynamics.
• Experience in a made-to-order/semi-custom machinery environment.
• Packaging or food processing experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare mechanical designs for filling and capping machinery.
• Apply core mechanical engineering principles; present calculations in design reviews to team and customers.
• Design machined and fabricated parts (shafts, bearings, housings, valves, drive components, mounting plates, weldments, sheet metal).
• Create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks; manage BOM in ERP (Syteline).
• Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, Assembly and other departments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support installation and startup; assist customers and service technicians on technical issues.
• Travel to customer sites (up to 10%).
