Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scope, task lists, and timelines
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities with team members and internal customers
• Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems using physics, mechanics, heat transfer, and materials science
• Develop and execute test plans for materials, components, and systems
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
• Define system performance requirements and measurable results
• Specify equipment from vendors and create in-house designs
• Produce CAD models and engineering drawings
• Specify and order components
• Develop and implement control and data-acquisition systems
