Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, refine, and validate mud pumps and related equipment in Houston, TX. You will lead mechanical design efforts, perform analyses, and contribute to safe, efficient, and innovative solutions.

This role requires hands-on experience with pumps, hydraulics, and industry standards. The position offers hybrid work with a mix of office and facility time, international travel when needed, and collaboration with an experienced

Qualifications

5+ years in machine/mechanical systems development.
3+ years with mud pumps or related equipment.
CAD proficiency and FEA experience.
Ability to read P&ID, electrical/hydraulic schematics.
Experience in ISO/API Q1 manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for mechanical equipment for reliability and performance.
Conceptualize and refine mechanical designs with safety and efficiency in mind.
Perform stress analyses to ensure component integrity.
Create detailed layouts and drawings per standards.
Develop test plans and document results.
Research and specify parts for cost-effective solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment concepts.
