• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years hands-on mechanical design experience with ownership mindset
• Experience designing precision-machined assemblies and power transmission systems
• Knowledge of bearings, shafts, gearing, motors, drives, and tight-tolerance components
• Experience with CAD/engineering analysis tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) and FEA fundamentals
• Strong cross-functional communication and customer-facing skills

Aufgaben

• Lead product and system-level design for electro-mechanical actuation and power transmission
• Create robust, manufacturable machine designs involving precision-machined components, bearings, gearing, motors, drives, sensors, and linear-motion systems
• Define requirements, develop detailed mechanical layouts, build FEA models, and establish tolerance schemes balancing performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability
• Partner with manufacturing, applications, product, and program teams to move designs from concept through production
• Engage directly with customer engineers and program leaders in design reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving
• Bring thoughtful trade-off analysis and solutions to support product roadmaps and future opportunities
