Job summary

Cindavi is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our precision machining operation that builds technically demanding components for general aviation. This first-shift, onsite role in Mobile, AL will own production processes, review CMM data, and make real-time program adjustments on 5-axis machinery.

You will drive continuous improvement, apply Lean methods, and collaborate across engineering, planning, operations, and quality to advance new product development and shop-floor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 4-12 years of hands-on manufacturing engineering with CNC machining experience.
• Ability to interpret CMM data and adjust programs at the machine control.
• Familiarity with GD&T, PPAP, SPC, and shop floor gaging methods.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production machining operations; troubleshoot issues and keep floor running to spec.
• Review CMM data and apply statistical methods to improve processes and MES instructions.
• Participate in qualification and training of production team members.
• Drive Lean-focused continuous improvement across cells and equipment.
• Collaborate across engineering, planning, operations and quality to advance NPI.
• Develop and modify CNC programs to support ongoing and new production activities.
