Job summary

ST+B Engineering, a Denver-based MEP firm, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from early design through construction administration. This role carries real project ownership: you'll lead your own projects, manage schedules, coordinate directly with clients and design teams, and provide technical direction.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building design/consulting.
• Colorado Mechanical PE license required or in process.
• B.S. in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Take primary design responsibility for mechanical systems across various building types.
• Lead production of designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selection.
• Provide peer review and QA/QC of staff work; mentor junior engineers.
• Perform 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD work as needed.
• Conduct onsite observations and contract administration for active projects.
• Attend design and OAC meetings as project lead.
