Job summary

Jobot seeks a Sr Mechanical Engineer/Dept Head to lead the mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering team on diverse projects, including commercial buildings and mission critical facilities. You will guide design, mentorship, and project delivery in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has 12–15+ years in AEC, a PE license, and strong REVIT skills, with proven leadership and time management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 12-15+ years of AEC experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of Leadership experience.
• PE Licensed Required.
• REVIT Proficiency Required.
• Strong design and documentation experience.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering.
• Excellent project, people, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mechanical Department and head the team.
• Oversee design, analysis, and documentation for projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across commercial, healthcare, and government sectors.
