GRAEF is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its MEP team in Sarasota, FL. You will design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across diverse building types while mentoring junior staff and leading projects.

The role offers flexible hours with a hybrid schedule, opportunity for business development, and a path to growth within an established, employee‑owned firm. Knowledge of REVIT and Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

GRAEF is considering Senior Mechanical Engineer candidates who have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in in the design of HVAC systems, Plumbing and Fire Protection on a variety of building types.
• Professional registration as a PE in FL and ability to gain registration in other states as required for work.
• Proficient with Bluebeam and REVIT.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
