Job summary

GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the growing MEP team in our Miami, FL office.

You will design HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for a variety of building types and lead project efforts from concept through completion. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis, 8+ years of relevant experience, FL PE license, and proficiency with Bluebeam and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis.
• 8+ years of experience in the design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection for various building types.
• Professional licensure as a PE in Florida (ability to gain in other states as needed).
• Proficient with Bluebeam and REVIT.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Work on an extensive array of projects, from industrial projects to airport work, to symphony halls and more.
• Mentor less-experienced electrical staff.
• Manage and lead projects.

GRAEF is considering Senior Mechanical Engineer candidates who have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of HVAC systems, Plumbing and Fire Protection on a variety of building types.
• Professional registration as a PE in FL and ability to gain registration in other states as required for work.
• Proficient with Bluebeam and REVIT.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
