HDR is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Chicago, IL, to lead design efforts for building engineering services. You will coordinate the mechanical team, engage with clients, and contribute to marketing and project planning across diverse markets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a PE license, with preference for healthcare/tech facilities and data centers experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or must be obtained.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience with multi-discipline teams.

Mansioni

• Establish client relations and participate in mechanical systems marketing and design meetings.
• Lead mechanical work on multiple projects.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Project Architect and other disciplines to develop design documents.
• Coordinate workload to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Participate in code reviews with governing agencies for compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior staff within the mechanical team.
