Job summary

Process Equipment and Controls is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II/III to lead complex projects from concept through implementation. You will mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-performance mechanical systems.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), and a track record in product development, design optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical engineering (B.S. or M.S.) and 7+ years leading mechanical projects.
  • Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Experience with product development lifecycle and regulatory standards (ISO, ASME).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and optimization of advanced mechanical systems and products.
  • Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specs.
  • Provide high-level technical expertise and strategic direction on challenges.
  • Conduct simulations, testing, and analysis to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Review and approve drawings, designs, and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams and with clients.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and share best practices.
  • Keep up with trends and drive continuous process improvement.
