This position is a Senior Mechanical / Project Engineer role focused on the design and execution of custom industrial equipment. You’ll take ownership of projects ranging from small systems to $2M capital equipment builds, supporting efforts from concept through manufacturing.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with 5+ years of experience who is confident in engineering calculations, comfortable leading projects, and thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations (heat transfer, gearmotor sizing, cylinder sizing, blower selection)
• Develop BOMs and detailed fabrication drawings
• Produce mechanical and combustion-related schematics
• Lead small project teams and support customer communication
• Oversee manufacturing builds to ensure design intent is executed properly
• Collaborate with purchasing, fabrication, and leadership teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience (flexible for strong candidates)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
• Strong confidence in engineering math and system sizing
• Experience designing industrial equipment or heavy machinery
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and detailed drawings)
