Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer to design mechanical building systems for large-scale projects in St. Petersburg, FL.

You will develop layouts, calculations, drawings, and construction documents, and use Revit throughout the design process while coordinating with electrical, plumbing, architectural, and construction teams. This permanent, on-site role offers exposure to complex design-build projects, mentoring junior engineers, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Strong Revit proficiency.
• Experience designing mechanical building systems.
• Experience on multifamily, high-rise, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, data center, or similar projects.
• PE license is a plus.

Job Details

As a Mechanical Engineer / Designer, you will support the design and delivery of mechanical building systems for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Design mechanical building systems for large-scale construction projects
• Develop layouts, calculations, drawings, and construction documents

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• Experience designing mechanical systems for buildings
• Experience with multifamily, high-rise residential, hospitality, commercial, healthcare, data center, or similar projects
• High-rise apartments, hotels, condos, or student housing experience is highly desirable
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
• Experience leading, mentoring, or delegating work
• PE License is a plus
• Stable employment history preferred
• Collaborative and growth-oriented mindset
