The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mechanical design, strong CAD skills (Autodesk Inventor) and FEA experience, plus excellent communication and leadership abilities to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and Vault PDM.
• Experience with structural FEA (MSC Nastran or similar).
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to mentor.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on product design, analysis, and development for new machinery.
• Develop requirements and specs; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create CAD models and BOMs using Inventor.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and root-cause problem solving.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure project success.
