Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of mechanical design and product development experience.
• Experience transitioning products from prototype to production.
• Solid mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, dynamics, materials, prototyping, testing, machining, fabrication.
• Exposure to chemical process equipment.
• Strong teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain design documents, CAD models, drawings, and test plans.
• Develop equipment while balancing specifications, process needs, layout, cost, and lead times.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and maintain design documents, including CAD models, drawings, and test plans.
• Develop equipment while balancing specifications, process needs, layout complexity, cost, and lead times.
• Identify and implement improvements for better performance, robustness, and ease of assembly.
• Analyze system constraints and propose innovative solutions.
• Support the building, debugging, validation, and duplication of equipment, and fine-tune it for production.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of machinery to ensure quality and robustness.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on machine design and product development.
• Experience transitioning products and processes from prototype to production.
• Knowledge in solid mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, dynamics, material selection, prototyping, testing methods, everyday machining, and fabrication processes.
• Have exposure to chemical process equipment.
• Strong teamwork skills with a proven ability to interact and collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor CAD software.
