The role requires strong proficiency in SolidWorks, systems integration, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while meeting military standards and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum seven years of engineering experience in a technical R&D/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with systems integration.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage engineering responsibilities within budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop packaging concepts functional, ergonomic, and aesthetically appropriate.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks with fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Analyze designs for thermal and structural performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and perform or oversee quality inspections.
• Prepare data reports and design review packages for customer acceptance.
• Ensure documentation meets military standards and AS9100 requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project execution.
