Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a Mechanical Senior Engineer I to lead design and analysis for complex projects from inception through construction. You will act as a discipline lead, coordinating engineers, designers and staff to deliver complete project documents.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 6+ years of piping experience, and familiarity with PFDs/P&IDs, ASME codes and piping equipment packages. PE is preferred; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; MS preferred; PE preferred.
• 6+ years of related engineering experience with industrial piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and piping components.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1, B31.3 and NFPA 59A.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis for assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate tasks with engineers, designers and staff; manage scope, budget and schedule.
• Ensure constructability, safety and quality across projects.
• Present project aspects in meetings and to clients.
• Support safety culture and corporate core values.
