Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States is seeking a Senior Data Center Mechanical Engineer to support hyperscale data center construction programs, focusing on design of mechanical systems, RAM integration, and RAM modeling for reliability.

You will oversee design consultants, perform rapid conceptual sketches, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve issues on operating campuses, visiting sites as needed and contributing to fleet-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience, with at least 2 in data center construction.
• Experience coordinating scope with multiple trades and cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical systems and assist design development for hyperscale data centers.
• Oversee A/E design consultants and provide engineering direction per standards.
• Peer review deliverables and support value engineering opportunities.
• Assist in developing fleet-wide improvement options and site visits as needed.
