Job summary

P2S in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead HVAC and plumbing design for higher education, ports, and energy projects. The role focuses on proposal development through construction completion and requires PE licensure.

This full-time hybrid position offers a salary range of 124,800 to 183,040 USD, with 3 in-office days and 2 remote, on a mid-to-senior level. LEED is a plus; work includes budgeting, scheduling, and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE License)
• 8+ years of engineering design and project management experience
• Experience with HVAC and Plumbing Design
• Experience with design-build projects
• Experience performing energy studies, audits, and analysis
• Involved with Working knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan
• Experience and knowledge of the state and local codes
• Comfortable and willing to present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff
• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Administer all phases of projects from proposal development through construction completion
• Budgeting, scheduling, planning, design, and specification writing on a given project with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities on multiple projects
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and designers focused on higher education, ports, and energy projects
