Job summary

P2S is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Seattle, WA to support both pre-design and design phases on large projects across a diverse portfolio, including commercial and institutional buildings, healthcare, and infrastructure.

This full-time, hybrid role requires a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; responsibilities include leading electrical design, power systems studies, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience leading electrical design projects.
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required.
• Knowledge of NEC, Title 24, LEED, BIM workflows.
• Experience with power systems studies preferred; ramp-up possible.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for medium to large projects and coordinate with the full design team.
• Direct electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, load flow) using ETAP/SKM.
• Oversee power distribution design and equipment replacement projects.
• Ensure CAD/BIM standards and coordination workflows are followed.
• Apply NEC, Title 24, and CALGreen knowledge to designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines.
