Job summary

GBA is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical utilities for complex Life Sciences facilities in Colorado. You will interact with clients to establish design criteria and support project goals, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a PE license and 7+ years' experience in technically complex facilities, with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to cross-disciplinary project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering preferred or required.
• 7+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience designing complex building systems in Life Sciences/biopharma facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical utility systems for complex facilities.
• Develop mechanical concepts responding to client requirements, goals, and budget.
• Perform design calculations and evaluate equipment selections.
• Coordinate with architecture, electrical, process engineering, and other disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and support QA/QC processes.
