ATI, Inc. seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for complex multimillion-dollar construction projects at Redstone Arsenal, Madison County, Alabama.

Role requires technical leadership, submittal review, and daily field observations, with responsibilities spanning change orders, RFI/RFC responses, and material inspections. Applicants should have 10+ years of experience, a PE license preferred, and be eligible for government clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering on complex construction projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professionalism.
• US Citizens and able to obtain a government clearance; ASHRAE/NFPA/IBC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Review and comment on Contractor mechanical and control submittals.
• Observe construction daily and report on observations.
• Coordinate mechanical project issues and change orders.
• Prepare technical interpretations of drawings/specifications.
• Inspect contractor plant, materials, and equipment daily.
• Review QC Reports and respond to RFIs/RFCs.
• Assist in preparing change orders and claims documentation.
