ATI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for complex multimillion dollar construction projects at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The role involves hands-on review of contractor submittals, daily site observations, and coordination of mechanical issues on site.

Candidates should have 10+ years of experience, a PE license is preferred, and familiarity with ASHRAE/NFPA/IBC codes. US citizenship and ability to obtain a government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years on complex multimillion dollar construction projects.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain government clearance.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, IMC, IPC, and IBC codes.
• Experience with USACE QC/Inspection, EM 385-1-1, RMS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Review and comment on Contractor mechanical submittals.
• Observe construction daily and report observations.
• Coordinate mechanical project issues and RFI/RFC responses.
• Prepare change orders and claims documents as needed.
• Make technical interpretations of drawings and specs.
