Job summary

Prevail Recruiting partners with an energy hardware company to hire a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who will take products from requirements through production. You will design with SolidWorks, build prototypes, test, troubleshoot, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability.

This role blends computer-aided design with hands-on fabrication to continuously improve the product. You will own development, produce production-ready designs, perform analyses, and support manufacturing

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience taking mechanical products from concept through production.
• Strong 3D CAD skills with SolidWorks and GD&T proficiency.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and creating manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to work independently on complex engineering problems through design changes.

Responsibilities

• Own development from concept through production, taking assemblies through release.
• Create production-ready designs with 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot hardware with technicians and fabricators.
• Apply structural, thermal, vibration, and durability analysis to guide design.
• Prepare products for manufacturing and manage changes and release docs.
