We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to lead product development initiatives from concept through production and launch. You will play a key role in designing, testing, refining, and launching mechanical systems and components that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full product lifecycle development from concept, design, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and final implementation
- Design mechanical systems and components that meet functional, performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
- Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools
- Perform engineering analysis including FEA, CFD, tolerance stack‑ups, and material selection
- Build and test prototypes; analyze test data to validate performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions to improve product performance
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams
- Evaluate product safety, compliance, durability, and risk mitigation strategies
- Support cost estimation, budgeting, and timeline development for engineering projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within design and manufacturing processes
- Prepare clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development preferred
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Working knowledge of FEA and CFD tools such as ANSYS or equivalent
- Experience with CAM and CAE tools
- Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency with engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, Excel, or LabVIEW
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering documentation standards
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to the industry
- Project management experience or exposure to stage‑gate development processes
