Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to lead product development initiatives from concept through production and launch. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in hands‑on environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about delivering high‑performance, reliable mechanical solutions.

You will play a key role in designing, testing, refining, and launching mechanical systems and components that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full product lifecycle development from concept, design, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and final implementation
• Design mechanical systems and components that meet functional, performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
• Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools
• Perform engineering analysis including FEA, CFD, tolerance stack‑ups, and material selection
• Build and test prototypes; analyze test data to validate performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions to improve product performance
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams
• Evaluate product safety, compliance, durability, and risk mitigation strategies
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and timeline development for engineering projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within design and manufacturing processes
• Prepare clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development preferred
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
• Working knowledge of FEA and CFD tools such as ANSYS or equivalent
• Experience with CAM and CAE tools
• Strong understanding of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency with engineering analysis tools such as MATLAB, Excel, or LabVIEW
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering documentation standards
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to the industry
• Project management experience or exposure to stage‑gate development processes
