Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher for all degrees.
• 2+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor 2024 or newer.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault 2024 or newer.
• U.S. Citizenship due to ITAR restrictions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional product development teams on new technology and product initiatives.
• Design and revise detailed 3D CAD models for prototype and production systems.
• Create and maintain technical drawings for machined components, sheet metal parts, tubing, plastics/composites, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Support product development through ECOs, revisions, and configuration management.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, product specification sheets, and technical documentation.
• Prepare and update QA and manufacturing support documentation.
• Maintain organized CAD libraries and engineering documentation using Inventor and Vault.
• Help establish and improve company-wide modeling and drafting standards.
• Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
