Job summary

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join a Leading US Turnkey Energy Solutions Company. You will take charge of executing and overseeing mechanical work on EPC projects, collaborating with our integrated team and clients to deliver high-quality, world-class solutions for our construction team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
• Minimum of six years of hands-on experience in power generation, energy systems, or related industrial sectors.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across organizational levels.
• Familiar with ANSI, ASME, and NFPA standards.
• Experience reviewing and directing project schedules and control processes.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact for mechanical engineering on assigned projects, overseeing scope, budget, and timelines.
• Conducts third-party mechanical reviews and ensures quality assurance.
• Takes ownership of mechanical design deliverables and may serve as engineer on record.
• Executes technical tasks using current tools, standards, and calculation software.
• Reviews mechanical documentation including P&IDs, layouts, 3D models, isometrics, and equipment specs.
• Collaborates with internal EPC teams and clients to respond to RFIs and manage engineering procurement tasks.
• Shapes project direction, prioritizes tasks, and aligns with project/company objectives.
• Mentors and provides technical oversight to other engineers.
