Job summary

Insight Global in Baltimore, MD seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, build, and support cooling, vibration, and test systems for environmental, thermal, and vibration testing. You will gather requirements, develop innovative solutions, estimate schedules, and communicate risks to stakeholders throughout the project.

The role requires active US Government Secret Clearance, 5 years in design specs, and proficiency with Siemens NX.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret Clearance required.
• 5+ years writing and maintaining design specifications.
• 5+ years with mechanical CAD design tools (Siemens NX).
• 5+ years in test design, maintenance, and repair of cooling/vibration test systems.
• 3+ years interpreting electrical schematics and interconnect diagrams.
• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Experience designing cooling systems with refrigerant/liquid cooling.
• Experience with hardware integration.
• Familiarity MIL-STD-810 Environmental Test Methods.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; design reviews/presentations.
• Ability to obtain EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
