Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sr Mechanical Engineer PE for energy, commissioning, and MEP assessments in Denver. You will lead property condition assessments, energy audits, and commissioning of large-scale building systems, working within a collaborative team on diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years of MEP consulting, a PE license, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid. Hybrid schedule, strong benefits, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license desired.
• 10-15+ years of MEP consulting experience in large-scale building systems.
• HVAC and Plumbing expertise required; knowledge of Electrical & Fire Protection systems.
• Experience in Facilities Engineering, Energy Audits, Commissioning, and Sustainability consulting.
• Knowledge of State & National Building Codes & Standards.
• CEM or LEED certifications preferred but not required.
• Leadership and project management successes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), energy audits, commissioning, and forensic evaluations of MEPF building systems.
• Design, construction management, evaluations of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
• Provide estimations of probable costs to repair or replace systems.
• Peer review building designs.
• Interact, coordinate, and communicate clearly with site personnel and clients.
• Contribute to a wide variety of projects with distinct challenges and impact.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
