Olsson’s Facilities Engineering and Design Team seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead high-level project design and QA/QC across diverse commercial and healthcare settings. You will advise on complex solutions, guide staff, and contribute to standards development to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer with at least eight years of progressive engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a comprehensive understanding of International Building Codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level project design and review of project documents for complex projects across sectors.
• Serve as a technical specialist applying advanced engineering concepts to solve challenges.
• Perform rigorous QA/QC to ensure design quality and alignment with objectives.
• Conduct research and advise on technical solutions with broad scope.
• Direct and advise staff on design approaches to meet project needs.
• Promote efficiencies and establish engineering standards and guidelines.
• Supervise and review assignments of less experienced engineers.
