Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in facilities design, healthcare, higher education, or commercial

Responsibilities

• Capable of researching, reviewing, and developing design criteria for variety of facilities
• Controls interaction and experience in developing sequence of operations
• Interact with building owners, property management, architects, and construction team
• Excellent organizational, technical, communication and documentation skills; able to work in a team
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems
• Present technical issues to clients and collaboratively develop solutions
• Assist Estimating and Pre-Construction groups to provide construction proposals
• Define system requirements and equipment selections for design-build work
• Competent in design and simulation programs (e.g., Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP)
• Generate plans and coordinate with other trades
• Ensure designs meet codes and safety standards
• Mechanical design: HVAC, Medical/Lab Gases, Process systems
• Prepare and approve shop drawings from vendors
• Develop and maintain CAD/BIM standards and details
