Textron Systems in Utah (Hill AFB) seeks a Full-time Mechanical Engineer II/III with experience in mechanical design for military applications. Candidate will work with suppliers in a multidisciplinary team, integrate designs into assemblies, and must be a US citizen able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include detailed design of structural components, design integration of mechanical parts, creation of Technical Data Packages, and transition to production/test.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2 years experience for Level II; 5 years for Level III.
• Experience with high-temperature parts and DFMA considerations.

Aufgaben

• Participate in the detailed design of structural components.
• Design integration of mechanical components and systems.
• Create Technical Data Packages with 3D drawings, specs and materials lists.
• Prepare and direct high-quality mechanical/electro-mechanical drawings.
• Transition product design to production and test.
• Write technical and proposal documents.
• Create detailed design reports and summarize results.
