Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer II to join our Weapon Systems team at Hill AFB, Utah. You will lead systems engineering efforts for complex military systems, ensuring design, integration, and deployment meet requirements and performance goals.

You will collaborate with software and hardware engineers, perform requirements analysis and system modeling, guide junior engineers, and align with program schedules. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
• U.S. Security Clearance preferred or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering activities for complex electronic systems, from concept to deployment.
• Conduct system requirements analysis, definition, and allocation.
• Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition.
• Perform system-level trade analysis of design options and costs.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to develop system architectures.
• Oversee system integration, verification, and validation activities.
