Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod. You will drive mechanical engineering activities, lead bid support, and coordinate with electrical and design teams to deliver complete, reliable orders across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, design for manufacturability, and collaboration with operations to ensure quality and on-time execution. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of design/engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod.
• Lead job processing activities, including bid support, submittals, order release, BOM development, and model generation.
• Develop and review mechanical design content to support customer-specific orders and product configurations.
• Coordinate with electrical and design resources to ensure complete and accurate engineering deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership for production and field activities by resolving mechanical design issues.
