Astronics Advanced Electrical Systems (AES) is seeking a Senior or Staff Mechanical Engineer to join the Cabin Electronics Product Team in Kirkland, WA. This on-site position offers the flexibility to work from home part-time depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include development engineering for power solutions in aircraft cabins, collaborating with systems, electrical, and software teams, and supporting production with design reviews and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Senior Mechanical Engineer: typically 5+ years of relevant experience; Staff Mechanical Engineer: typically 8+ years.
• Experience with power systems, cabin electronics, or aerospace hardware is a plus.

• Development engineering support for new products in the Cabin Electronics line.
• Collaborate with internal engineering resources across disciplines (systems, electrical, software).
• Communicate effectively in design reviews; generate technical reports and participate in peer reviews.
• Support ongoing production and review design changes or improvements.
