Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PE license preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering for buildings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for the built environment with limited direction from PM.
• Collaborate with design team across disciplines to deliver coordinated designs.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and documentation on schedule.
• Research options and communicate impacts to project goals clearly.
• Assist with energy modeling and lifecycle cost analyses.
• Mentor junior staff and support design staff development.
• Ensure code compliance and quality assurance across docs.
