Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on complex HVAC projects across healthcare, science, and manufacturing sectors. You’ll assist with evaluating, specifying, and engineering building systems under guidance, including Revit modeling and field surveys.

With a bachelor’s degree and 5 years in buildings design, you’ll engage in project coordination, development of technical specifications, and construction administration while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis.
• 5 years of experience in the buildings design industry.
• LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop full documentation for new construction and renovation projects.
• Develop designs through sketches, models, diagrams, and visuals.
• Use BIM to model mechanical systems in 3D.
• Prepare and revise documentation across mechanical phases.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams and clients on design criteria.
