Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in Portland seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design advanced mechanical systems for the built environment, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing, using Revit and other digital tools. You will work with a multidisciplinary team on Healthcare, Science & Tech projects and more.

You will bring a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, with a PE preferred. The role supports a hybrid work model with office presence in Portland and flexible scheduling, plus a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer is preferred.
• 8+ years of related professional experience or equivalent.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for the built environment with limited direction from the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with project managers and design staff as part of a coordinated team.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements and codes.
