Itera Mobility Engineering in Northville, MI is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of cockpit electronics, including in-vehicle infotainment and instrument cluster displays. You will drive packaging, materials selection, and thermal management while ensuring alignment with program goals and safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive mechanical engineering, experience with display integration, and collaboration with suppliers across development

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a mechanical engineering role within an OEM or Tier 1 automotive environment.
• Experience with display integration and packaging of automotive display products is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design and development of automotive display products integrated into instrument panels and seat backs.
• Collaborate on suppliers for feasibility assessments and tooling development.
• Support DFMEA, DV/PV testing, and drive design improvements.
• Coordinate prototype builds and 3D-printed parts for development and validation.
