Job summary

Mobis North America is seeking a Mechanical CAD Engineer to support automotive product design from concept to production. The role involves 2D/3D CAD design, STEP release management, drawing generation, and engineering documentation control, with coordination between OEM customers and global teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in CAD design for mechanical or electronics and proficiency with UG, CATIA V5, and Teamcenter. Hybrid work with onsite and offsite collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• ~5+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electronics CAD design.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical product design, development, and OEM automotive subsystems.
• Support STEP release and upload 2D/3D drawings for OEM development.
• Coordinate with MOBIS HQ and OEM for concept through final design requirements.
• Control and support engineering data/documents delivery between OEM and MOBIS.
• Work on site at MNA and offsite at OEM facilities; collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Engage with customers on future product definitions and issue resolutions to maximize system performance.
