Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Parsippany, NJ. The role involves developing and integrating advanced hoist, winch, and cargo-hook systems, and leading mechanical and electromechanical design efforts.

You will plan and manage complex projects, translate requirements into robust designs, and ensure performance through modeling, testing, and documentation. A strong engineering background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality environments.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in mechanical or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and conduct engineering and product development projects.
• Manage all phases of product development from concept through production and aftermarket support.
• Provide project planning, reporting, management, and technical implementation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Serve as a senior technical resource responsible for project success across financial, technical, and timeline objectives.
• Develop system architectures for new products and integrated systems, including hoist, winch, and related accessories.
