Job summary

Breeze-Eastern Corporation, a leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance lifting and pulling devices for aircraft, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop system architectures and translate customer needs into detailed designs.

You will perform 3D modeling, simulations (FEA), testing, and documentation for next-generation hoist and winch systems, with oversight of program plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in ISO-9001 or AS9100 environments with design configuration management.
• Aerospace/defense experience with complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Approximately 10 years of mechanical or systems engineering experience with strong leadership and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures for new products and integrated systems (hoist, winch, hooks).
• Translate customer needs into equipment specifications and detailed designs.
• Create 3D models, perform simulations including FEA, and document technical work.
