Job summary

Raytheon’s Airborne Radar Design Department in El Segundo, CA seeks a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to electronics packaging for AESA antenna, receiver, exciter, processor, and power subsystems. You will handle mechanical design across the hardware lifecycle, including concept through production, with strict size, weight, and power constraints.

Requirements include a STEM degree and 3+ years of experience, CREO proficiency, and the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with CREO or similar 3D CAD software desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on major programs and interface with lead mechanical engineers and chief engineers.
• Lead small design teams and ensure procedures for technical data packages are followed.
• Support suppliers fabricating components and assemblies.
