EVONA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and qualify advanced AESA systems and ruggedized electronics for aerospace/defense. You will take concepts through manufacturing, testing, and qualification, collaborating with electrical, RF, and systems teams.

This role emphasizes hands-on mechanical design, FEA analysis, GD&T, and environmental qualification to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810, with opportunities to influence product direction and present designs to customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of aerospace mechanical design and analysis experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and ANSYS.
• Experience with thermal management, EMI/EMC, and environmental qualification (DO-160G, MIL-STD-810).

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design from concept through production and qualification.
• Design ruggedized electronics packaging for aerospace/defense.
• Perform thermal, structural, shock, and vibration analysis via FEA.
• Develop mechanical solutions for airborne and terrestrial antennas.
• Support thermal management and EMI/EMC mitigation.
• Create 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and GD&T documentation.
• Collaborate with electrical, RF, manufacturing, and systems teams.
• Apply design-for-manufacturing, assembly, testing, and reliability principles.
• Support environmental testing to DO-160G and MIL-STD-810.
• Present designs to customers and engineering leadership.
