Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of industry experience in mechanical design and analysis of electronics packaging or spacecraft structures.
• Experience with CAD and FEA tools (SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation).
• Knowledge of thermal management, structural dynamics, shock and vibration.
• Experience with CNC manufacturing and precision mechanical components.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, structures, and electronics packaging.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation.
• Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and stress analyses using FEA.
• Support mechanical testing, environmental qualification, and design validation.
• Apply GD&T and design-for-manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Participate in design reviews and product development.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to support the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge aerospace hardware, including active electronically scanned array (AESA) antenna systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges and taking products from initial concept through manufacturing and qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, structures, and electronics packaging.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and stress analyses using FEA tools.
• Support mechanical testing, environmental qualification, and design validation.
• Apply GD&T, precision machining principles, and design-for-manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
• Investigate mechanical design issues and implement engineering improvements.
• Participate in technical design reviews and support product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of industry experience in mechanical design and analysis of electronics packaging or spacecraft structures and mechanisms.
• Experience with CAD and FEA tools, such as SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation.
• Understanding of thermal management, structural dynamics, shock, and vibration.
• Experience with CNC manufacturing and precision mechanical components.
• Familiarity with electronics assemblies and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
