Qualifications

  • 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in upstream oil and gas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States; Texas P.E. preferred.
  • Experience with greenfield and brownfield facility projects.
  • Hands-on experience with vessel design, gas compression, dehydration, sweetening, emulsion handling, and production operations.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, API standards, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute mechanical engineering deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Perform detailed mechanical design including vessel sizing, compression, dehydration, sweetening, piping stress, and hydraulic calculations.
  • Develop and review equipment specifications, datasheets, and bid evaluations.
  • Review and stamp mechanical drawings in accordance with applicable U.S. codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, DOT, OSHA).
  • Coordinate with process, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and client meetings.
